Called to order at 7:30 PM. Present: Supervisor Abbey, Clerk Brelinski, Treasurer DiStefano, Trustee Rients, and Trustee MacKenzie. Absent: None.
Public Hearing for 5-Year Parks and Rec Master Plan: Opened and closed at 7:32 PM. No public comment.
Public Comment: None, Special Guests: Friends of the St. Clair River – review of the 2025 Stewardship Program.
Approved on Consent Agenda: Regular Meeting Minutes from November 12, 2025; Special Meeting Minutes from November 19, 2025; Treasurer's Reports for September 2025; Clerk's Revenue & Expenditure Report for November 2025; Payroll totaling $23,996.32; Accounts Payable totaling $396,074.68; and Marine City Area Fire Authority emergency runs for November 2025.
Approved Business Items: 2026 Planning Commission Meeting Schedule and submission deadlines; payment of McKenna invoices related to the Master Plan, Parks and Recreation Plan, and Planning Commission advisory services; payment for disposal of an abandoned boat; suspension of competitive bidding and approval of a contract extension with Emterra Environmental USA for waste and recycling services; annual Miss Dig 811 membership and maintenance fees; bookkeeping services invoice; final payment to Friends of the St. Clair River for the 2025 Stewardship Agreement; Resolution R-2025-19 supporting the St. Clair County Road Commission 2026 Local Road Funding Assistance Program; Resolution BR-2025-2026-04 amending the Township budget FYE March 31, 2026; Resolution R-2025-20 adopting the Five-Year 2026–2030 Parks and Recreation Plan; and final payment to Project Control Engineering for the CWSRF Project #2021.
Board Member Comments/Announcements: Large trash and recycling bins available for purchase at the Township Hall; update provided on the Township pole barn project; notice that a special meeting may be scheduled before year-end if needed.
