THIS NOTICE BY PUBLICATION IS NOTIFICATION THAT YOUR RIGHTS OR INTEREST IN THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROPERTY LOCATED IN GOLDEN MEADOW, LOUISIANA MAY BE TERMINATED BY OPERATION OF LAW IF YOU DO NOT TAKE FURTHER ACTION IN ACCORDANCE WITH LAW:
A certain tract of land situated in the Parish of Lafourche, State of Louisiana, on the right descending bank of Bayou Lafourche, at about fifty (50) miles below the Town of Thibodaux, Louisiana, in the Town of Golden Meadow, Louisiana. Said tract of land is known as the Batture and is situated between Louisiana Highway No. 1 and Bayou Lafourche, and measuring one-half (1/2) of one (1) arpent front on Bayou Lafourche by a depth of thirty (30') feet, more or less. Bounded on the west side by Louisiana Highway No. 1, bounded on the north side or above by property of the Estate of Elie Ducos, now or formerly, bounded on the south side or below by property of Andrew Griffin, now or formerly, and being bounded on the east side by the water's edge of Bayou Lafourche. Together with all the buildings and improvements thereon and all the rights, ways, privileges and servitudes thereunto belonging.
Being the same property acquired by Deman H. Doucet and Eva Griffin Doucet from Georgina Griffin Authement, et al, by Act of Cash Sale dated June 10, 1976, and recorded in the Conveyance Records of Lafourche Parish at COB 568, Folio 454, under Entry No. 426914

Your interest in the property will be terminated if you do not redeem the property by making all required payments to the tax collector listed below or file a lawsuit in accordance with law within 60 days of the date of the first publication of this notice, or the recording of an act transferring ownership, if later.
This property shall be placed for public sale without warranties on Central Bidding at centralbidding.com for a minimum bid of $2101.18. The property shall be sold to the highest bidder. Bids shall be accepted from February 11, 2026, at 9:00 AM Central daylight time until February 13, 2026, at 4:00 PM Central daylight time.
