NOTICE TO BIDDERS

NOTICE TO BIDDERS SEALED PROPOSALS will be accepted by the Paradise Township Board of Supervisors until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday July 2, 2026 at the Paradise Township Municipal Building, 5912 Paradise Valley Rd, Cresco, PA 18326 for the following: "2026 Road Paving Bid Proposal" for paving on various roads located in Paradise Township, Monroe County for up to the following: 1,521 Tons of 9.5MM Superpave, 60 lb/sy Scratch Course 4,563 Tons of 9.5MM Superpave,180 lb/sy Wearing Course 16,842 LF of 4" Double Yellow Center Lines with Glass Beads 24,269 LF of 4" Single White Edge Lines with Glass Beads All materials must meet current PennDOT Publication 408 Specifications and Standards. Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified and must supply proof of prequalification. Proposals must be on forms provided by the Township. Proposal forms, specifications and bid information can be obtained at the Paradise Township Municipal Building at the above address or by calling Tina Transue, Secretary at 570-595-9880 Ext. 4, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. For further information contact Mike Mader at 570-595-3534, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to Paradise Township. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract. All bids will be opened publicly on Thursday, July 2, and read at 1:15 PM with the intent to award at the Paradise Township Board of Supervisors meeting on Monday, July 6, 2026, at 6:15pm, or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows. The Paradise Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and also to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interest of the Township.
