NOTIFICATION Take notice that an application for a CAFRA individual permit has been submitted to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Land Resource Protection for the development described below. Applicant: South Jersey Gas (SJG) Project Name: South Jersey Gas Greenwich Rd – 4" & 8" Pipeline Extension Project Description: South Jersey Gas is proposing to install new 4" & 8" plastic gas pipeline owned by South Jersey Gas Company (SJG) to serve existing residential and commercial customers along the alignment. It will start as a 4" line at the southwest along Trench Rd approximately 3,400 west of the intersection of Trench Rd and Barretts Run Rd then run east along Trench Rd to that same intersection. From the intersection of Barretts Run Rd and Trench Rd a new 4" pipeline will run north along Barretts Run Rd to its intersection with Greenwich Rd. From the intersection of Greenwich Rd and Barretts Run Rd a new 8" gasline will run east along Greenwich Rd to its termination approximately 5,000' from that intersection. Either a 30 day public comment period or public hearing will be held on the application in the future. Individuals may request a public hearing on the applications within 15 calendar days of the date of this notice. Requests for a public hearing shall be sent to the Department at the address below and shall state the specific nature of the issues to be raised at the hearing.
