Newtown- Fire Code Ordinance NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at the regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Newtown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, to be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at the Newtown Township Building, 100 Municipal Drive, Newtown, PA 18940, at 7:00 PM, the Board of Supervisors will consider, and if appropriate enact, an ordinance, the title and a summary of which are as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, BUCKS COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, AMENDING THE NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP CODE OF ORDINANCES TO ADOPT THE 2021 INTERNATIONAL FIRE CODE, WITH AMENDMENTS, AS THE NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP FIRE CODE; REPEALING ALL INCONSISTENT ORDINANCES OR PARTS THEREOF; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE The proposed ordinance adopts the 2021 International Fire Code by reference as the Newtown Township Fire Code. The ordinance makes certain amendments to the 2021 International Fire Code to tailor it to Newtown Township's specific fire prevention requirements.
