North Ridge Trail Extension PD&E Study Public Workshop
Polk County Government staff invites you to a Public Workshop for the North Ridge Trail Extension Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study to assess the extension of North Ridge Trail roadway over Interstate-4 (I-4) in Polk County.
Polk County Government, in coordination with FDOT, is conducting a PD&E Study to evaluate the extension of North Ridge Trail roadway over Interstate-4 (I-4) in Davenport, Florida. The workshop is an opportunity for you to review and comment on the status of the study. Polk County Government staff will display alternatives, including a no-build alternative. The workshop materials will include maps and an analysis matrix comparing the potential effects and costs of each alternative.
You can participate in the in- person Public Workshop on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Polk County Sheriff's Northeast Office, Community Room, 1100 Dunson Rd., Davenport, FL 33896.

Polk County is sending notices to property owners, business owners, tenants, interested persons and organizations within 300 feet of the project to provide the opportunity to give comments to Polk County regarding this project. Polk County solicits public participation without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by FDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. §327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated May 26, 2022 and executed by FHWA and FDOT.
