Notice of Public Hearing NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE INDIANA On October 16, 2025, pursuant to Indiana Code §36-7-4-41(a), the City of Lawrence Redevelopment Commission adopted a resolution designating the Sunnyside to Oaklandon Economic Development Area and Adopting an Economic Development Plan. The description of the area affected and a map showing its location together with the October 16, 2025, resolution is available and can be inspected at the offices of the City of Lawrence, 9001 East 59th Street, Lawrence, Indiana 46216. On November 20, 2025, the City of Lawrence Redevelopment Commission will meet at 3:30 p.m. in the George E Keller Public Assembly Room, 9001 E. 59th Street, Lawrence, Indiana 46216 and will hold a public hearing to receive and hear all remonstrances and objections from persons interested in or affected by the proceedings and actions to be taken in the adoption of the Sunnyside to Oaklandon Economic Development Area and Economic Development Plan. After considering the evidence and public comments at the public hearing, which may be adjourned from time to time, the City of Lawrence Redevelopment Commission shall take final action determining the public utility and benefit of the adoption of the Sunnyside to Oaklandon Economic Development Area and the Economic Development Plan and confirming, modifying, or rescinding the resolution.
