Notice of Public Hearing Encompass Health Corp. (NYSE: EHC) plans to build a freestanding, 50-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Fishers, Indiana. Two public meetings will be held on December 19th, 2025, at 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm in the Main Conference Room at The Hampton Inn & Suites Indianapolis-Fishers, located at 11575 Commercial Drive, Fishers, IN, 46038. These public hearings will include an opportunity for representatives of Encompass Health to present information regarding the Project and address any questions or concerns from the public. The hospital, to be located at 13675 Jack Walker Lane, will serve patients in Hamilton County and surrounding communities recovering from debilitating illnesses and injuries, including strokes and other neurological disorders, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations and complex orthopedic conditions. In addition to 24-hour nursing care, the hospital will offer physical, occupational and speech therapies to restore functional ability and quality of life. Care will be provided by highly specialized nurses, therapists and physicians. The hospital will feature all private patient rooms, a spacious therapy gym with advanced rehabilitation technologies, an activities of daily living suite, in-house dialysis suite, dining room, pharmacy and therapy courtyard. The $37 million hospital, expected to open in 2027, will be part of Encompass Health's national network of rehabilitation hospitals and complement its existing locations in Indiana: Encompass Health Deaconess Rehabilitation Hospital in Newburgh and its satellite location, Encompass Health Deaconess Rehabilitation Hospital – Downtown, in Evansville.
