Notice of Subcontractor Pre-Qualification
Miller Construction Management, LLC., dba JF Construction Services on behalf Polk County BOCC, is currently pre-qualifying any firm who wishes to submit a proposal for all trades for the Caloosa Lake Fire Rescue Station.
The project is located at 611 Alturas Babson Park Cutoff Road, Lake Wales, Florida and consists generally of the construction of a new single-story, 11,657 SF Fire Rescue Station and all related site improvements.
The scope of work shall include, without limitation: construction materials testing, field surveying services, site work, septic tank and drain field system, fencing and gates, landscaping, irrigation, concrete, masonry, pre-cast concrete, polished concrete floors, miscellaneous structural steel, wood roof trusses, rough carpentry, cabinetry and countertops, insulation, metal roofing, joint sealants, doors, frames, finish hardware, overhead sectional doors, aluminum storefront entrances, aluminum storefront windows, framing, drywall, stucco, acoustical ceiling systems, flooring and base, tile flooring, rubberized athletic flooring, interior and exterior painting, flagpole, interior and exterior signage, lockers, bunker gear storage racks, toilet partitions, toilet accessories, bunker gear extractor, bunker gear dryer, kitchen hood, ice maker, appliances, roller shades, fire sprinkler protection, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, emergency generator, lightning protection, and fire alarm system.
Only prequalified firms will be allowed to provide bids. To prequalify, contractors will need to send all company information, W-9, certificate of insurance listing Miller Construction Management, LLC., dba JF Construction Services, and Owner, and their affiliates as additional insured in respect to general liability insurance, and waiver of subrogation to the Estimating Department (JFCSbids@jfpetrogroup.com). Approved bidders will be notified via email of bid documents.
M/WBE participation is strongly encouraged.
