Notice of Teaneck Board Of Adjustment Meeting Township of Teaneck Zoning Board of Adjustment Meeting Notice is Hereby Given Please Take Notice that a public hearing before the Teaneck Zoning Board of Adjustment has been ordered for January 8, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at The Teaneck Municipal Complex, 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck N.J., on the appeal or application for development of the undersigned for a variation from the requirements of the Zoning Ordinance so as to permit the construction of a 1-story rear addition and new deck which requires the following variances: an existing non-conforming lot area of 6,468 square feet where 7,500 square feet is required, a non-conforming lot width of 49 feet where 75 feet is required. Existing non-conforming left (south) side yard of 6.1 feet where 7 feet is required, existing non-conforming right (North) side yard of 6.4 feet where 7 feet is required, existing non-conforming combined side yard setbacks of 12.5 feet where 14.7 feet is required. The proposed rear addition and deck would increase the building coverage from 19.6 % to 27.6 %, and would increase the impervious coverage from 33.3% to 43.3%. Additionally, the applicant will seek such other and further variances, permits, approvals and/or waivers as the Teaneck Zoning board of Adjustment may determine are required at the time or hearing. On the premises known as 1297 Sussex Road and designated as Block 2110, Lot 17, on the Township's tax map, located in the R-S Zone. Any interested party may appear at said hearing and participate therein in accordance with the rules of the Teaneck Zoning Board of Adjustment.
