PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE The City of Boone, Iowa, is hereby serving Public Notice that on May 4, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., the City Council will hold a public hearing during the regular City Council meeting to consider the submission of an application for a Community Development Block Grant. The grant application will request funding assistance to assist low-to-moderate income residents who own their home to replace the roof. This meeting will be held to give residents information concerning the proposed project. Citizens are encouraged to attend and express their preferences about the proposed activities. Residents are able to provide comments in writing in advance of the meeting by email to kmajors@booneiowa.gov or by mail to PO Box 550, Boone, IA 50036. Additionally, citizens who wish to participate in the public hearing can do so by attending the meeting on May 4, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Boone City Council Chambers, 923 8th Street, Second Floor, Boone, Iowa, 50036.
