PUBLIC NOTICE Harrison Avenue Stormwater Infrastructure and Complete Streets Project Take notice that an application for a flood hazard area individual permit has been submitted to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Land Resource Protection for the development described below: APPLICANT: Camden County Municipal Utilities Authority PROJECT NAME: Harrison Avenue Stormwater Infrastructure and Complete Streets Project PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Project consists of upgrades to the City of Camden's Harrison Avenue from East State Street to 27th Street (approx. 4025 feet) to protect the street from flooding during a 10-year storm with 50% increase for climate change. The design includes new stormwater systems for the collection and transportation of storm water to the river, new sanitary sewers to achieve sewer separation for part of the neighborhood, the installation of Green Infrastructure systems with trees to infiltrate 10% of the stormwater into the ground, incorporating twenty-seven (27) parking spaces, an 8-foot wide elevated bike path, new curbs, sidewalks, ADA ramps, grading and paving with striping and crosswalks from E. State Street to 27th Street.
