PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Hearing Board of Chestnuthill Township ("Board") will hold a hearing at the Chestnuthill Township Municipal Building at 271 Route 715, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, on Thursday, December 18, 2025, beginning at 6:30 p.m., prevailing time, regarding an application for variances filed by Effort United Methodist Church and Simplex Image Solutions ("Applicants"). Applicants seek variances to section 119-65 (Electronic Message Signs) and section 119-66 (B)(5) (Conversion to Electronic Message Sign) in order to change an existing sign to an electronic message sign. The subject premises is owned by Effort United Methodist Church, located at 178 Merwinsburg Road in Chestnuthill Township, and identified by PIN # 02.6239.00.63.5932 ("Subject Premises"). The Subject Premises is located in the Rural Residential – RR zoning district. Pursuant to section 119-65 of the Zoning Ordinance, electronic message signs are not permitted in the Rural Residential – RR zoning district. All persons are welcome to attend and be heard.
