Project-Based Voucher (PBV) Waiting List
The Brick Housing Authority is opening its Project-Based Voucher (PBV) Pre-Application waiting list for a limited number of senior and/or disabled Studio & 1-Bedroom designated units. The list will be open May 15th, 2026 - October 15th, 2026. The BHA reserves the right to close the list at an earlier date if necessary.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for this PBV waiting list, the household must include at least one member who is:
• 62 years of age or older, or
• A person with a qualifying disability, as defined by HUD.
Households that do not include a senior or disabled household member are not eligible and should not apply.
Income Requirement
Applicants must meet HUD Very Low Income (50% Area Median Income) limits. Current Ocean County income limits are approximately:
• 1-Person Household: $47,900
• 2-Person Household: $54,750
Income limits are subject to annual HUD adjustment.
Preference Points (Applied to Eligible Applicants Only)
Eligible applicants may receive preference points as follows:
• 1 point – Senior household (62 years of age or older)
• 1 point – Lives or works in the Township of Brick
• 1 point – Veteran or spouse of an honorably discharged veteran
Preference points are cumulative. Applicants with higher point totals are selected first. When points are equal, selection is based on the date and time of application.
