Proposal for Pre-Kindergarten Services RFP #2025-26-R02 Legal Notice Bedford Central School District Request for Proposals Proposal for Pre-Kindergarten Services RFP #2025-26-R02 The Bedford Central School District is soliciting Proposals from qualified community-based organizations (CBOs) to contract with the District to provide additional Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program (UPK) placements during the 2026-2027 school year, with an option to renew for three (3) additional one-year periods. The CBOs selected must provide at least a total of eight (8) placements for students who have or will turn four-years-old between December 2, 2025 and December 1, 2026. CBOs must be approved licensed and/or registered Pre-Kindergarten providers. The District may allocate UPK seats among one or more CBOs based on the number of proposals received, the number of placements sought by District residents and available grant funding for the District's UPK program. Request for Proposal documents will be available beginning on April 14, 2026 through https://www.bidnetdirect.com/new-york/bedfordcentralschooldistrict. Proposals must be submitted to the Business Office, at the above address, no later than 12:00 pm on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. Proposals will be opened at that time. Proposals received after that time will be returned to the Proposer unopened. The proposer assumes the risk of any delay in the mail or by means of personal delivery, including any mishandling of mail and/or deliveries by employees of the District. The proposer has sole responsibility for having proposer's proposal deposited on time at the place specified. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed opaque envelope which must be clearly marked on the outside "Proposal for Pre-Kindergarten Services RFP #2025-26-R02" and include the due date and time and the name and address of the Proposer. The Board will not be responsible for the premature opening of any proposal if not so marked. Proposals shall be irrevocable for a minimum period of forty-five (45) days from the date of the Proposal opening. The Bedford Central School District Board of Education ("Board") reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals or any parts of Proposals that it considers not to be in the best interest of the District. The Board also reserves the right to invite new proposals, to negotiate with all qualified proposers, to cancel this RFP, to request clarifications or corrections to proposals received.
