Public Hearing 2026 Annual Action Plan PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM (CDBG) City of Fond du Lac City-County Government Center 160 S. Macy Street, Meeting Room A Tuesday, January 13, 2026, 6:00 P.M. The City of Fond du Lac will conduct a public hearing regarding the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and request for funding. The public is invited to attend to learn about the CDBG Program, to provide input on the Program Year (PY) 2026 Annual Action Plan and review the list of proposed projects and funding recommendations. Public Hearing Agenda: Review and approve the Annual Action Plan and the list of estimated allocations to proposed projects for PY 2026 a. Owner Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Loans (1-4 Unit Structures) $ 220,000.00 b. Renter Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Loans (1-4 Unit Structures) $ - c. Rehabilitation Program Administration $ 55,000.00 d. Homestead Opportunity Program $ 85,000.00 e. Blight Elimination $ 51,000.00 f. Public Facilities $ 63,000.00 g. Public Services $ 70,000.00 j. Warming Shelter $ 20,000.00 l. Undesignated $ 18,000.00 m. Administration $ 118,000.00 Total $ 700,000.00 The PY2026 appropriation for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has not been determined. If the actual allocation amount is less than the City's estimate, the proposed activities budgets for the PY2026 Annual Action Plan for the City of Fond du Lac will be proportionally decreased from the estimated funding levels to match actual allocation amounts. If the actual allocation amount exceeds the City's estimate, the City will increase the Homestead Opportunity, Public Facilities and Blight Elimination activity budgets based upon the amount of additional funding. Residents of the City of Fond du Lac are encouraged to attend, especially residents with low to moderate incomes.
