Public Notice Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Notice of Public Comment Period MEDC will hold a public comment period to give citizens an opportunity to give input on the draft Action Plan for spending $43,570,000 in Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds allocated by HUD in response to the severe storms, tornadoes and flooding that occurred in August 2023. The public is encouraged to read the draft Action Plan and provide feedback at a public hearing or by sending an email to cdbg@michigan.org. The public comment period will run from August 30, 2025 through September 29, 2025. Public hearings will be held: Monday, September 8, 2025, 6 p.m. Pontiac City Hall, Council Chambers 47450 Woodward Ave. Pontiac, MI 48342 Wednesday, September 10, 2025, 6 p.m. Monroe City Hall, Council Chambers 120 E. First St. Monroe, MI 48161 Thursday, September 11, 2025, 6 p.m. Warren Community Center, Cafeteria 5460 Arden Ave. Warren, MI 48092 Residents requiring accommodations and/or language translation services for the hearings should contact cdbg@michigan.org.
