Public Notice R.C. 505.86 RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TOWNSHIP TRUSTEES OF LEXINGTON TOWNSHIP, STARK COUNTY, OHIO This date, September 23, 2025, Trustee Daniel Moore, moved the adoption of the following Resolution: WHEREAS, information has come before the Board of Trustees concerning the condition of the real property located at 16050 Greenbower Street NE within the unincorporated territory of Lexington Township; and WHEREAS, the Fire Chief of the Lexington Township Fire Department has determined and advised the Board of Trustees that the condition of the property described herein above is insecure, unsafe or structurally defective. NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby RESOLVED by the Trustees that: Pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 505.86, notice shall be provided by first-class mail, to the owner(s) of record of the land identified above and to any holders of liens of record upon the land stating that: You, as the owner of the land located at 16050 Greenbower Street NE, are hereby notified that it is the intention of the Board of Trustees to provide for the removal of the building(s) or structure(s) located on your property, which have been determined to be insecure, unsafe or structurally defective. If no agreement is reached to provide for remedial and corrective action to be taken regarding this condition within thirty (30) days, the board will provide for the removal of the subject building(s) or other structure(s) on your property, and the total costs incurred by the board in performing that task will be entered upon the tax duplicate and will be a lien upon the lands from the date of entry. Further, a civil action to recover said costs may be commenced. If the owner(s) address is unknown and cannot reasonably be obtained, such notice shall be published once in a newspaper of general circulation in the township, namely, The Alliance Review. Trustee Michael Pauli seconded the motion and, thereupon, the votes in favor of the Resolution were recorded and are reflected by the signatures hereto.
