Notice is hereby given that the North Lafourche Levee District has applied for a40I Water Quality Certification to clear, grade, excavate, and place fill to construct the Reach I Interim Flood Levee to provide flood protection to residents and complete improvements to an existing road. All work will occur near Hamilton Street north of Larose in Lafourche Parish. The North Lafourche Levee District is applying to the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality, Office of Environmental Services for a Water Quality Certification in accordance with statutory authority contained in the LAC 33:IX.1507.A-E and provisions of Section40 I of the Clean Water Act.
