Rye Planning Board Legal Notice
On Tuesday September 16, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. the following applications will be submitted to the Planning Board at 10 Central Road at its regularly scheduled meeting held at the Rye Town Hall.
1. Lot Line Adjustment by Ross Engineering, LLC on behalf of Barbara Hamilton located 14 Pioneer Rd, Tax Map 24, Lot 92 and Three Meters LLC located at 20 Pioneer Rd, Tax Map 24, Lot 93. Lot 92 to become more non-conforming going from 14,841 SF (0.34AC) to 18,229 SF (0.42AC) where 66,000 is required and Lot 93 become less non-conforming from 23,906 SF (0.55AC) to 20,518 SF (0.47 AC) where 66,000 SF is required. Properties are in the Single Residence District. Case #11-2025.
2. Lot Line Adjustment and Lot Consolidation Plan by JVA, Inc. on behalf of Robert and Patricia Weathersby and Sixteen Parsons, LLC for properties located on Tax Map 20.2, Lots 68 and 49 (26 Neptune Dr) and Tax Map 23.1, Lot 3 (16 Parsons Rd). They propose to transfer approximately 1,871 SF from Tax Map 20.2, Lot 39 to Tax Map 20.2, Lot 68. The remaining 19,969 SF of Tax Map 20.2, Lot 49 will be merged with Tax Map 23.1, Lot 34 to create a new 28,538 SF parcel. Applicant requests two waivers from 202-3.1(A)(17) and 202-3.1(A)(9). Properties are in the General Residence, Coastal Overlay District. Case #12-2025.
3. Driveway application by Matthew & Marlena Wrobel for property owned and located at 30 Acorn Acres, Tax Map 16, Lot 97 requests a waiver from Land Development Regulations Appendix E, Section 5: F for a diveway that is not going to have a finished width of 14' at the property line nor flare to a maximum finished width of 20' at road surface. Property is in the Single Residence District. Case #13-2025.
If the Planning Board determines that the applications are complete, it will then hold a public hearing on September 16, 2025, on the applications after determining they are complete. Should a decision on an application not be reached at the public hearing, the application will stay on the Planning Board agenda until such line as it is either approved or disapproved.
