SUBSTITUTE TRUSTEE'S NOTICE OF SALE WHEREAS, on June 27, 2022, Karissa Marie Norwood, an unmarried woman, executed a Deed of Trust to Granville Tate, Jr., Trustee for the benefit of Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., (MERS), as recorded on June 30, 2022 in the office of the Chancery Clerk for the First Judicial District of Hinds County, Mississippi, in Book 7283 at Page 2281; and, WHEREAS, on or about August 1, 2025, Trustmark National Bank, a national banking association, converted to Trustmark Bank, a Mississippi banking corporation ("Trustmark Bank"), retaining all rights, claims, and interests in and to the aforementioned Deed of Trust and the indebtedness secured thereby; and WHEREAS, Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., (MERS), assigned said Deed of Trust to Trustmark Bank, by instrument recorded on November 26, 2025, in Book 7329 at Page 2329 in the office of the aforesaid Chancery Clerk; and, WHEREAS, Trustmark Bank, the holder of said Deed of Trust and the Note secured thereby, substituted McKay Franklin PLLC as Trustee in said Deed of Trust, as authorized by the terms thereof, by instrument recorded on December 15, 2025, in Book 7329 at Page 6666 in the office of the aforesaid Chancery Clerk; and WHEREAS, an Affidavit of Scrivener's Error was recorded on April 13, 2026, in Book 7331 at Page 1070; and WHEREAS, default having been made in the terms and conditions of said Deed of Trust, and the entire debt secured thereby having been declared to be due and payable in accordance with the terms of said Deed of Trust, and the legal holder of said indebtedness having requested the undersigned Substitute Trustee to execute the Trust and sell said land and property in accordance with the terms of said Deed of Trust for the purpose of raising the sums due thereunder, together with attorney fees, Substitute Trustee fees and expenses of sale; NOW, THEREFORE, the undersigned McKay Franklin PLLC being the Substitute Trustee, does hereby give notice that on May 21, 2026, between 11:00 o'clock a.m. and 4:00 o'clock p.m., being the legal hours of sale, it will proceed to sell at public outcry, to the highest bidder for cash, at the Main North front door of the Hinds County Courthouse, Jackson, Mississippi, the following real property described and conveyed in said Deed of Trust, lying and being situated in the First Judicial District of Hinds County, Mississippi, and being more particularly described as follows, to-wit: Lot 9, Block 11, West Park Addition, a subdivision according to a map or plat thereof which is on file and of record in the office of the Chancery Clerk of Hinds County at Jackson, Mississippi, in Plat Book 2, Page 2, reference to which is hereby made in aid of and as a part of this description.
