TOWN OF UXBRIDGE INVITATION FOR BIDS The Town of Uxbridge is accepting sealed bids from Contractors for Linwood and Church Street Drainage Improvements project. Sealed bids, clearly marked, will be received by the Department of Public Works, 147 Hecla Street, Uxbridge, MA 01569 until Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at which time they will be publicly opened and read. The work in this contract includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of the drainage system on Linwood, Church and Maple Street. Work required for this project includes: Removal of 18 drainage structures, installation of 14 drain manholes and 16 catch basins, removal of RCP drainage, installation of approximately 300 feet of 12" HDPE pipe, 360 feet of 15" HDPE pipe, 25 feet of 18" HDPE pipe, 450 feet of 24" HDPE pipe, and 840 feet of 30" HDPE pipe, along with other related civil/site work including modifications to two existing retaining walls to allow for installation of new drainage. Printed Contract Documents are available at Accent Printing, Inc. at 99 Chelmsford Road, North Billerica, MA 01862. Payment in the amount of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) will be required for each set of Contract Documents. This is a non-refundable payment. Bidders are asked to call Accent Printing at 978-362-8038, or register and request drawings on-line at www.accentblueprints.com prior to arrival. Payment shall be by cash, credit card, company check, treasurer's or cashier's check, or money order payable to Accent Printing, Inc. The Town of Uxbridge reserves the right to accept or reject, in whole or in part, any or all bids, and to take whatever other action deemed necessary to be in the best interest of the Town.
