TOWNSHIP OF BRICK NOTICE Please take notice that the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 3, Township of Brick, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey, at a special meeting scheduled for Thursday, December 11, 2025, to be held between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., or longer if necessary, at the Herbertsville Fire House, 601 Herbertsville Road, Brick, New Jersey, shall determine whether it shall expend funds for a Wildland Interface truck with related equipment in an amount not to exceed six hundred thousand dollars ($600,000.00) from funds which have been accumulated in undesignated capital; and whether it shall raise funds for Joint Board capital projects (paving, class room improvements and computers) in an amount not to exceed thirty-eight thousand dollars ($38,000.00), Scott packs and bottles (SCBA) in an amount not to exceed seventy-four thousand four hundred dollars ($74,400.00), a storage cage in an amount not to exceed seven thousand dollars ($7,000.00), APX 8000 portables with vehicular chargers in an amount not to exceed thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000.00), a boat fire pump in an amount not to exceed twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00), apparatus body repairs in an amount not to exceed forty thousand dollars ($40,000.00) and reserve for future capital outlay in an amount not to exceed three hundred forty-five thousand dollars ($345,000.00) and, at said meeting, the legal voters shall determine, by secret and private ballot, the amounts to be expended and raised for the above projects pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:14-84. The amounts determined to be expended and raised at said time and place shall be included in the next annual budget of the Fire District under the section for capital appropriations.
