ADRIAN DISTRICT LIBRARY: NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE ADOPTION OF THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026-27
TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS IN THE LIBRARY DISTRICT OF THE ADRIAN DISTRICT LIBRARY
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Adrian District Library, County of Lenawee, Michigan, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, the 16th of June at 6:00 pm to consider the approval and adoption of the operating budget of the Adrian District Library for the fiscal year 2026-27. The meeting will take place in person in the Community Room of the library building, located at 143 E. Maumee St. in downtown Adrian.
Copies of the proposed budget are on file with the Library Director at the Adrian District Library, 143 E. Maumee St., Adrian, Michigan for inspection during regular library hours and the draft budget is posted on the library's website at adrian.lib.mi.us. At the public hearing, all citizens, taxpayers, and property owners of the Adrian District Library, being comprised of the City of Adrian, shall be afforded an opportunity to be heard in regard to the approval of the budget.
THE PROPERTY TAX MILLAGE RATE PROPOSED TO BE LEVIED TO SUPPORT THE PROPOSED BUDGET WILL BE A SUBJECT OF THIS HEARING.
