ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS 2026 RAVENNA TOWNSHIP ROOF REPLACEMENT PROJECT Sealed proposals will be received at the Ravenna Township Administration Building, Administration Entrance, 6115 S. Spring Street, Ravenna, Ohio 44266 until 1:00 P.M. Local Time on MONDAY, JUNE 9, 2026, for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the project known as the 2026 RAVENNA TOWNSHIP ROOF REPLACEMENT PROJECT, in RAVENNA Township, Portage County. Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Regular Meeting of the Ravenna Township Board of Trustees at 7:00 P.M. on June 9, 2026, at 6145 S. Spring Street, Ravenna, Ohio 44266. Specifications and Bidding Forms are on file at the office of the Ravenna Township Road Superintendent, 6115 S. Spring Street, Ravenna, Ohio 44266. They are also available on the Ravenna Township website at ravennatownship.com. No responsibility is assumed by Ravenna Township for documents received too late for filing a bid. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in bond form, shall be issued by a surety company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than August 15, 2026. Contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of this project. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on public improvements in Portage County as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division, (614) 644-2239. The Ravenna Township Board of Trustees reserve the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids.
