ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS ADV-1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed Bids for the Covington Township Sewer Authority Wastewater Treatment Plant Site Improvements Project including but not limited to: construction of rotary drum screen building, installation of rotary drum screen equipment, sanitary sewer pipe installation, manholes, flowmeter. bar screen, and associated appurtenances for a complete in place rotary drum screening system will be received by: Covington Township Sewer Authority 1186 Drinker Turnpike, Covington Township, PA 18444 Mailing address: P.O. Box 266, Moscow, PA 18444 Until 1:00 PM prevailing time, February 10, 2026. Bids will be publically opened and read aloud at 7:00 PM prevailing time on February 10, 2026, at the Covington Township Sewer Authority Building, 1186 Drinker Turnpike, Covington Township, Pennsylvania 18444. The Bids will be received for the following Contract: COVINGTON TOWNSHIP SEWER AUTHORITY WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT SITE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT Prospective Bidders may receive copies of the Bid Documents in electronic format from the offices of Engineering Surveying Consultants & Design, Inc. located at 707 Gardner Road, Elmhurst, PA 18444, upon request to mlbutler@escdesigninc.com. When requesting documents, please provide Bidder's name, street mailing address, telephone number, and email address. Only Bidders receiving a full set of Documents through the Engineer will be on record to receive Addenda. A Certified Check or Bid Bond drawn to the order of Covington Township Sewer Authority in the amount equal to Ten Percent (10%) of the amount of the Bid amount must be submitted with the Bid as Bid security. All proposals shall be submitted in accordance with the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. Covington Township Sewer Authority hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to refuse any, any combination, or all Bids submitted; and also reserves the right to waive any informality in Bids received, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder. NONDISCRIMINATION IN EMPLOYMENT. The Bidders shall not, by reason of gender, race, creed, or color, discriminate against any citizen of this Commonwealth who is qualified and available to perform the work to which the employment relates. The requirements for Bidders and Contractors are explained in the specifications. A Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for all prospective Bidders on January 27, 2026 at 11:00 AM prevailing time, at the Covington Township Sewer Authority Building, 1186 Drinker Turnpike, Covington Township, PA 18444. The meeting is non-mandatory. Except as otherwise provided by law, no Bidder may withdraw his Bid within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days after the actual date of opening thereof or one hundred twenty (120) consecutive calendar days if the award is delayed by a required approval or another governmental agency, the sale of bonds or the award of a grant or grants.
