Washington County (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

Bids for the Project will be received at the Washington County Administrative Office located at 1331 South Boulevard, Chipley, Florida 32428, until Thursday, December 4, 2025, 3:00 PM local time. At that time, or shortly thereafter, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read at the Washington County Commission Meeting Room located within the Administrative Office.
The Project includes the following Work: The Project includes the construction of three (3) additions to the existing Washington County Chipley Library Branch, located on the north, east, and west sides of the facility, with a combined area of approximately 5,400 square feet. Work generally consists of building construction with associated architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, together with all required site improvements including demolition, grading, drainage, utilities, and restoration. All work shall be completed in accordance with the Contract Documents and coordinated with the existing facility to provide a fully operational library expansion.

Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
Bidding Documents may be purchased from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Cost does not include shipping charges. Upon the Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents or electronic documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder's delivery service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method chosen. Bidding Documents are available for purchase in the following formats:

Pre-bid Conference
A mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at 10:00 AM local time at the Chipley Library Meeting Room located at 1444 W. Jackson Avenue, Chipley, Florida 32428.
