Bids for the Project will be received at the Town of Grand Ridge Administrative Office located at 2086 Porter Avenue, Grand Ridge, FL 32442, until Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 2:00pm Central Time. At that time, or shortly thereafter, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read at the Town of Grand Ridge Commission Meeting Room located behind the Administrative Office.
The Project includes the following Work:
Construction of an 8,850-sf single story building and all associated site development work located at U.S.90, Grand Ridge, FL 32442. The facility is designed to accommodate the Grand Ridge Fire Department and features 5 vehicle bays (w/doors), two restrooms, two offices, common area, meeting room, mechanical room, kitchen, and bunker gear storage room. Site Work includes clearing and grubbing, earthwork, retention pond, reinforced concrete pavement with driveway, fencing and sodding and underground utility construction.

Pre-bid Conference
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 10:00am Central Time in the Town of Grand Ridge Commission Room located at 2086 Porter Avenue, Grand Ridge, FL 32442. An optional site visit is scheduled to follow.
Instructions to Bidders.
The project is federally funded and subject to requirements for Davis-Bacon Act prevailing wages, E-Verify, HUD Section 3, etc. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
Small business and minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit proposals, and firms using such subcontractors are strongly encouraged to solicit such firms in the subcontracting process. Any Contracts/subcontracts issued under this procurement must comply with the necessary affirmative steps to assure that minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are used, when possible, in accordance with 2 CFR § 200.321.
