Advertisement for Bids Sealed bids for Algoma Utilities Parker Avenue Water Main Extension project will be accepted through Quest vBid electronic bid service by 10:00 a.m., local time, on December 16, 2025; and then publicly opened and read aloud via a Teams meeting. The work, in general, will include the approximate quantities and items listed below: Watermain Water Main, PVC C-900 Pressure Pipe, 6", Open Cut 12 L.F. Water Main - Trenchless Installation Without Casing Pipe, HDPE, 6" 320 L.F. Fire Hydrant Assembly (Tee/Hydrant/Auxiliary Valve and Lead) 2 EA. 6" Valve and Box (Mainline) 2 EA. 6" Valve (furnished by owner) and Box (Mainline) 1 EA. Connections to Existing Watermains (includes fittings/joint restraints) 4 EA. Street Select Demolition of Curb and Gutter (Includes Sawcuts) 30 L.F. Saw Cutting (Asphalt) 205 L.F. Concrete Curb and Gutter, 30" (Type D) 30 L.F. Miscellaneous Traffic Control 1 L.S. The proposals shall be submitted on the forms furnished with the specifications. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond of a bonding company duly authorized to do business in the State of Wisconsin in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal. This proposal guarantee shall be subject to forfeiture as provided by law. When submitting an electronic bid, Bidder is required to deliver the original bid bond within 72 hours of bid opening to Cedar Corporation. For this project, bids will be received and accepted via the online electronic bid service through QuestCDN vBid online bidding. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Proposals shall not be withdrawn for a period of 45 days after the date of opening. Algoma Utilities reserves the right to reject any or all of the proposals and to waive any informalities therein.
