If the successful bidder fails to execute the contract and furnish the required bonds within 10 days after the Award, the Check or Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the Village as liquidated damages. Bids shall be submitted on the bid form provided and all blanks must be filled in for the bid to be accepted. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days from the date of the bid opening. All bidders must file a "Bidders Qualification Statement," with the Village Clerk on or before 1:00 pm on Friday, February 27, 2026 (unless already submitted for 2026). The work being completed on N 125th Street and N 126th Street is being partially funded by WisDOT through the Local Roads Improvement Program (LRIP) using MSILT funds. All project work shall be substantially completed within 120 calendar days of notice to proceed. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities not involving price, time or changes in the Work and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids and the right to accept the Bid and Bids which best serve the interests of the Village.
