ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS VILLAGE OF ROTHSCHILD MARATHON COUNTY, WI 2026 MILITARY ROAD RECONSTRUCTION VOLKMAN STREET TO EVELYN STREET General Notice VILLAGE OF ROTHSCHILD is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: 2026 MILITARY ROAD reconstruction Project #07816057 The Village of Rothschild will receive and accept bids ONLY through QuestCDN.com via the online electronic bid service (Quest vBid) for the construction of 2026 Military Road Reconstruction until 9:00 am, April 8, 2026. All bids will be downloaded and publicly read aloud during a virtual public bid opening that will be held at the day and time of the bid closing. All plan holders will receive information via Quest on how to join the virtual meeting prior to the bid opening. The Project includes the following Work: concrete storm sewer inlets & manholes, HDPE storm sewer pipe, 12' span precast concrete modular arch structure, unclassified excavation, base aggregate dense, HMA pavement, concrete driveway & sidewalk, curb and gutter, pavement marking, signing, and restoration. Utility work includes ductile iron watermain, hydrants, valves, and temporary support of sanitary sewer forcemain. The anticipated substantial completion date is August 14, 2026 and final completion date is August 28, 2026. CONTRACTOR PRE-QUALIFICATION IS REQUIRED. BIDDERS shall submit Bidder Qualifications form and attachments (form included in Section 00 21 13 - Instructions to Bidders) before 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 25, 2026, to the office of the Engineer by methods of email (cgrundemann@msa-ps.com) or postal mail (146 North Central Avenue, Suite 201, Marshfield, Wisconsin 54449). An approved prequalified general contractor list will be posted to Quest eBidDoc #10022424 by 5:00 pm, Friday, March 27, 2026. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with Quest CDN as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. Quest CDN requires the bidding documents to be downloaded from the site in order to submit a bid in the Vbid system. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through Quest CDN. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than Quest CDN. Instructions to Bidders. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% of Bidder's maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified check, or an electronic Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. If after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by local wage rates. The project is funded in part by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP). Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
