Advertisement for Bids
The Nature Conservancy (TNC) hereby advertises for sealed Bids for the construction of Tyndall Living Shoreline Breakwater (Project), the second in a series of nature-based solutions to be installed by TNC under the Tyndall Coastal Resilience Project.
The Project consists of four submerged reef structures to be constructed with bedding and armoring material. Recycled concrete may be substituted for bedding material only. The reef structures will be a combined length of 0.24 miles including gaps. The Project location is within East Bay, approx. 1.0-mile east of the US Highway 98 DuPont Bridge and 0.3-miles west from the entrance of Fred Bayou, Bay County, Florida, at approx. 30° 5' 43.985" N, 85° 35' 44.456" W.
Bidding Documents will be made available electronically on June 1, 2026 at 10:00 am Eastern Time via TNC's Dashboard which can be found at https://tinyurl.com/Living-Shoreline-Dashboard.
It is the prospective Bidder's sole responsibility to obtain the Bidding Documents in a timely manner.
A Pre-Bid Meeting to discuss the scope of the Project and the requirements of the Bidding Documents will be held virtually via Zoom on June 9, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Register to attend the pre-bid meeting at https://tinyurl.com/Tyndall-LSB-Pre-Bid-Meeting. Attendance of the pre-bid meeting is mandatory to submit a Bid.
Bids for the Project must be submitted on July 6, 2026 by 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time via TNC's Dashboard. Any Bids received after the specified time will not be considered. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form, accompanied by the required Bid Security and include all documentation as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders. TNC reserves the right to disregard all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids.
