ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS SECTION 00 11 13 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CITY OF BYRON WATERMAIN REPLACEMENTS General Notice City of Byron (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Watermain Replacements 23-1647 Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at City of Byron located at 232 West 2nd Street, Byron, Illinois 61010, until July 22nd, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes the following Work: Installation of approximately 1,900 feet of 8" C900 PVC water main via open cut methods, 1,600 feet of 10" C900 PVC water main via open cut methods, and 2,600 feet of fused HDPE SDR 11 8" water main via directional boring methods in the areas of Colfax Street, 2nd Street, Chestnut Street, and West Street. The project will incorporate open cut and boring excavation depending on the location. The construction will involve trenching, pipe installation, reconnection of services, and surface restoration. All work shall be completed in accordance with Contract Documents and any addenda thereto.
