Advertisement for Bids Warminster Township Five Ponds Golf Course Clubhouse Demolition ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS 00 11 13-1 DOCUMENT 00 11 13 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Warminster Township will receive sealed bids online via the PennBid website for Contract 2026-10: Five Ponds Golf Course Clubhouse Demolition. Sealed bids may be submitted and updated online until 11:00 A.M., prevailing time on July 7, 2026 at which time the bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud at the Township offices at 401 Gibson Avenue, Warminster, PA 18974. The Work to be completed under this contract includes a base bid and an alternate bid for the demolition of the existing clubhouse at the Five Ponds Golf Course. The Base Bid includes the notification of utility companies and the capping of existing utilities, including water, sanitary, gas, electric, and telecommunications; the removal and disposal of all building debris; the excavation, removal, and disposal of the concrete foundation, footings, and stone base down to subgrade; and the provision of a temporary chain link fence post demolition. The Township anticipates burning down the clubhouse for purposes of fire training prior to demolition. The Township will provide temporary fencing for the duration between the fire training event and the commencing of removal and demolition per this contract. Any disturbed lawn areas outside the building limits are to be re-graded to match surrounding topography and permanently stabilized and seeded. In the scenario that the fire training event is not held, the Alternate Bid shall include the tear down of the clubhouse structure. Prospective Contractors must submit Appendix G – Contractor Responsibility Certification Form for their firm and all anticipated subcontractors at least fourteen (14) calendar days before the specified bid submission deadline. Failure to submit a contractor responsibility certification form, including forms for any anticipated subcontractors, by the aforesaid deadline (June 23, 2026) will automatically disqualify any firm from submitting a bid or proposal for a contract. The project shall be substantially completed within thirty (30) calendar days after the date when the contract times commence. The anticipated dates for fire training include July 18 and July 19, or July 25 and July 26. The Township anticipates a start date immediately following fire training. All Bid Documents and solicitation details are available at no cost at PennBid. A nominal fee of 0.33% of the bid amount (up to $6,000) is assessed only to bidders awarded contracts. This project is subject to applicable provisions of Act 422, Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, as amended, and the prevailing minimum wage rates issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry for work valued at over $25,000. If the Contract Price exceeds $75,000, the project is subject to the Township's Responsible Contractor Requirements. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held June 10, 2026, beginning at 10:00 A.M. prevailing time at Five Ponds Golf Course, 1225 W Street Road, Warminster, PA 18974. All bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after the Bid Opening or for such period of time that Bidder may agree to in writing upon request. Bids may be withdrawn within two (2) business days after the opening of Bids only by the withdrawing Bidder's strict compliance with 73 P.S. §1602 and any subsequent amendments. Warminster Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contract, and to waive any informality in the bids.
