ADVERTISEMENT OF INVITATION FOR BIDS Tires and Related Services Community Transit of Watertown/Sisseton, Inc. BID CLOSE Date – September 2, 2026, at 4:00 PM Central Time The Community Transit of Watertown/Sisseton, Inc. (CTWSI) requests bids for tires and related services for tires per the terms and conditions outlined in the Invitation for Bids (IFB) IFB Number 2026 CTWSI IFB-01. CTWSI requests the following: Bulk purchase of tires for multiple types of vehicles and related services for tires. Bid documents may be obtained electronically at www.communitytransitws.com Questions regarding obtaining bid documents can be directed to Terry Hoffman at 605-882-5287 or via email at terry@communitytransitws.com . Inquiries regarding the IFB will be directed, in writing, to Terry Hoffman at 205 1st Avenue NE, Watertown, SD 57201 or via email at terry@communitytransitws.com All inquiries, request for clarifications and request for exclusions or alternates must be received by August 12, 2026, at 4:00 PM Central Time. Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received at Community Transit at 205 1st Avenue NE, Watertown, SD 57201 until 4:00 PM Central Time on September 2, 2026. Envelopes or boxes containing a bid shall be sealed and clearly labeled Tire Procurement, IFB #2026 CTWSI IFB-01, Sealed Bid enclosed. Oral, telegraphic, email or telephone proposals and modifications will not be considered. Bids received after said time will be returned unopened. In CTWSI's Conference Room of the Watertown location at 205 1st Avenue NE, at 4:00 PM Central Time, on September 3, 2026, bid proposals will be opened publicly and read aloud. Bids submitted on forms other than ones provided will not be considered. Bids shall not be withdrawn by any bidder for a period of 60 calendar days after opening bids. CTWSI will review the bids received and select a vendor no later than September 10, 2026. CTWSI reserves the right to reject any and all bids; to accept bids it deems to be in its best interest and to waive any or all informalities in bidding procedures. Financial support of this project is provided through financial assistance from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA).
