Announcement of Public Meeting Notice is hereby given that at its meeting to be held on Monday, August 10, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at its regular meeting place, the Police Jury Room of the Rapides Parish Courthouse, 701 Murray Street, 2nd Floor, Alexandria, Louisiana, the Police Jury of the Parish of Rapides, State of Louisiana, plans to consider adopting a resolution ordering and calling special elections to be held in (i) Service Area No. 1 of Fire Protection District No. 2 of Rapides Parish, Louisiana, (ii) Fire Protection District No. 2 of Rapides Parish, Louisiana, (iii) Fire Protection District No. 19 of the Parish of Rapides, State of Louisiana and (iv) Road District No. 2C of the Parish of Rapides, State of Louisiana to authorize the levy of ad valorem taxes therein.
