ATTENTION BIDDERS – NEW TANDEM TRUCK The Newton Township Trustees will be accepting bids for a new tandem truck until 6:00 pm on April 14, 2026 and will be opened thereafter at the Newton Township Fire Department, Trustees Meeting Room at 5490 Maysville Pike, Zanesville, OH. Specs for truck are as follows: 350hp turbo Cummins engine, turbo exhaust back, Allison 4500 automatic transmission, 16000 front axle weight, 40000 back axle weight, full locker rear end both axles, air supply to rear of truck for towing brakes, heavy duty single frame. Frame needs to be 120" from back of cab to center of tandems. 24" of frame extension on the front of truck. 22.5" tires.
