PUBLIC NOTICE
To all owners, operators and persons interested in West Yellow Creek Field Unit including the following described lands therein:
Section 13, Township 9 North, Range 8 West, Wayne County, Mississippi.
TAKE NOTICE that TELLUS OPERATING GROUP, LLC, has filed a Petition with the State Oil and Gas Board of Mississippi in the above-referenced docket requesting that the Board grant the following relief: Authorize Petitioner to convert the R. West Well No. 1 (the "Well") to a saltwater disposal well. The Well is located at a surface location that is 2549 feet North of the South line and 1872 feet West of the East line of Section 13, Township 9 North, Range 8 West, Wayne County, Mississippi, in the West Yellow Creek Field Unit. Petitioner proposes to reenter and convert the Well to a saltwater disposal well for the disposal of produced saltwater and produced fluids. The proposed injection zone is at the depths of 5,646 feet to 6,386 feet in the Tuscaloosa Formation, and in the downthrown non- productive Eutaw Formation at the depths of 5,410 to 5,646 feet. Petitioner requests authority and preexisting authority to make, change and/or add to perforations with the said injection zone from time to time as Petitioner deems necessary or advisable.
TAKE NOTICE that the above and foregoing matter will be heard at the regular April 2026 meeting to be held at 9:00 o'clock a.m. on April 15, 2026, 500 Greymont Avenue, Suite E, Jackson, Mississippi 39202, and any other place to which said meeting may be adjourned or convened, at which time and place all interested parties may appear and contest said matter.
If you intend to contest the docket or request a continuance, you must notify the Board and Petitioner's representative of your intention in writing not later than 5:00 o'clock p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, (seven (7) days prior to the date stated above for the hearing). Failure to so notify the Board and Petitioner shall be a waiver of your right to contest or request continuance.
You are advised that the Board may adopt orders concerning a petition which may differ from the relief requested by Petitioner, and the Board will enter such order or orders as in its judgment may be appropriate in accordance with the evidence presented.
