Binghamton Range Munitions Response Site
Notification of Availability of Administrative Record/ Information Repository
Part of the U.S. Army's environmental program is to involve the community in all aspects of environmental studies, investigations, and cleanup processes at the Binghamton Range Munitions Response Site located in Port Dickinson, New York. Approaches to ensure community involvement include public notices in local newspapers, maintaining an administrative record file, and soliciting interest in establishing a Restoration Advisory Board (RAB). A RAB follows established procedures and provides a forum for community members affected by or interested in the cleanup process of Army activities. The Army National Guard is also notifying the community of the availability of the Administrative Record and Information Repository. These resources include the Final documents associated with the environmental investigation and cleanup processes for the Binghamton Range Munitions Response Site. The Army National Guard and New York Army National Guard will maintain the Administrative Record at their respective offices. The Information Repository is located at:
Broome County Public Library
185 Court Street
Binghamton, NY 13901
Should members of the community have questions or comments about the Binghamton Range MRS project or are interested in additional site information, please contact Mr. Walt Gee, Army National Guard at ArmyGuardCleanup@army.mil.
