Blissfield Community School District Facilities Improvements, Series II Blissfield Community School District - Facilities Improvements, Series II – will accept bids for additions and renovations to the High School, Middle School and Elementary School. The site work for the High School and Elementary School will consist of footing and foundations for the additions as well as interior renovations to the band room, choir room, weightroom and art room. The Middle School work will include conversion of the existing locker area into a new school office, accompanied by associated electrical system upgrades. All three facilities will undergo significant upgrades to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Sealed bids will be received no later than January 06, 2026, 11:00 AM, Local time, at the Blissfield Community School District Administration Building, 630 S. Lane St., Blissfield, MI 49228 and are to be addressed to the attention of Mr. Scott Riley. No electronic bids will be accepted Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud January 06, 2026, 11:30 AM, local time. Bidders may attend the bid opening in person or virtually. All proposals shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship (or lack of a relationship) that exists between the Owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the Board of Education of the Blissfield Community School District or the Superintendent of the School District. The District shall not accept a bid that does not include a sworn and notarized disclosure statement. Additionally, each bid shall be accompanied by a notarized disclosure statement indicating that they have not been doing business with companies having ties with the country of Iran in accordance with the Iran Sanctions Act. The District shall not accept a bid that does not include a notarized Affidavit of Compliance - Iran Economic Sanctions Act.
