Board Minutes Regular 11-10-2025 TWO RIVERS PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF EDUCATION Board Regular Minutes, Nov 10, 2025 The meeting was called to order by President Klinkner at 5:45 pm. Present: Wendy Brandt, Jennifer Henrickson, Tim Klinkner, Zak Peterson, Gary Shavlik, Randy Williams, Lori Zimney. Written notice of this meeting was sent to the news media on Friday, Nov 7, 2025. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Motion by Shavlik, second by Henrickson to approve the agenda; motion carried 7-0. Motion by Henrickson, second by Peterson to approve the minutes from the previous meetings: Board Regular-Oct 13, 2025, Finance-Oct 22, 2025, Lighthouse Learning Academy Governance-Oct 23, 2025, Board Regular-Oct 27, 2025; motion carried. Recognition of Invited Guests - Student Council Rep - Alexia B. introduced herself and shared an update of high school happenings: Trunk or Treat at L.B. Clarke Middle School, class officers, and a fundraising opportunity. Anything Goes Musical Cast and Crew and Director Shannon Meulbroek performed Bon Voyage. Great job to all our guests! No public comment. Communications: Thank you note. FINANCIAL STATEMENTS: Motion by Shavlik, second by Peterson to approve the bills to be paid for October 2025 in the amount of $910,901.17; motion carried 7-0. Motion by Zimney, second by Brandt to approve the Referendum bills #2 to be paid for October 2025 in the amount of $5,901.62; motion carried 7-0. Motion by Brandt, second by Peterson to approve the Financial Statements for September 2025; motion carried 7-0. BOARD COMMITTEE REPORTS: Scheduled meetings: Finance - Jan 15, 2026, Facility/Technology-Feb 5, 2026. OLD BUSINESS: Other as appropriate: None. NEW BUSINESS: Motion by Peterson, second by Shavlik to approve Wendy Brandt as the WASB Delegate and Lori Zimney as the WASB Alternate Delegate for the 2026 Delegate Assembly at the State Education Convention in Milwaukee to be held on January 21-23, 2026; motion carried 7-0. Motion by Zimney, second by Peterson to accept the donation of 500+ 24-count boxes of Crayola crayons from Walmart (Manitowoc) to Two Rivers Public School District art departments and elementary classrooms; motion carried 7-0. Other as appropriate: Shavlik noted his Nov 6 - Act 20 visit at Magee. ADMINISTRATOR UPDATE(S): Korinek (virtual) shared the School Report Card Overview and an update on Nov 6-Elementary Act 20 Day. Johnson highlighted the WOMT "Be My Guest" visit with MK Slattery, the Veterans Day events, and the listening session. Next listening session planned for Nov 20. Johnson and Graves recruited elementary classroom volunteers. Thank you Kim Graves! Coming events were announced.
