BOARD OF FIRE COMMISSIONERS OF FIRE DISTRICT NO. 2 TOWNSHIP OF WALL RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLIC HEARING RELATIVE TO CAPITAL PROJECTS WHEREAS, the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 2, Township of Wall, County of Monmouth, State of New Jersey, finds it necessary, in order to fulfill its mandated charge of fire prevention and fire protection within the District, to undertake certain capital projects, namely, hose replacement program, turnout gear replacement program, radio and communications upgrades, fire house improvements, SCBA replacement program, station security upgrades, HVAC systems upgrade, support vehicle, fire station alerting system, and utility brush truck; and WHEREAS, in compliance with N.J.S.A. 40A:14-84, a public hearing shall be held by the Fire District to allow the public the opportunity to be heard concerning the proposed expenditures. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 2, Township of Wall, County of Monmouth, State of New Jersey, as follows: 1. A public hearing shall be held by the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 2, Township of Wall, County of Monmouth, relative to the proposed expenditures for the purchase of hose replacement program in an amount not to exceed five thousand dollars ($5,000.00), turnout gear replacement program in an amount not to exceed thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000.00), radio and communications upgrades in an amount not to exceed fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00), fire house improvements in an amount not to exceed twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00), SCBA replacement program in an amount not to exceed fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000.00), station security upgrades in an amount not to exceed twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00), HVAC systems upgrade in an amount not to exceed one hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($150,000.00), support vehicle in an amount not to exceed twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00), fire station alerting system in an amount not to exceed fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00), and utility brush truck in an amount not to exceed twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00), for Wall Township Fire District No. 2; 2. The public hearing shall be held on December 22, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at Glendola Fire Company No. 1, 3404 Belmar Boulevard, Wall, New Jersey; 3. Copies of the Resolution shall be made available to each person requesting a copy of same from the date following publication of this Notice up to and including the date of the meeting; 4. This Resolution shall be published and posted in accordance with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 40A:14-84; and 5. After the public hearing the Fire District may adopt the resolution authorizing the purchase of hose replacement program in an amount not to exceed five thousand dollars ($5,000.00), turnout gear replacement program in an amount not to exceed thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000.00), radio and communications upgrades in an amount not to exceed fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00), fire house improvements in an amount not to exceed twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00), SCBA replacement program in an amount not to exceed fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000.00), station security upgrades in an amount not to exceed twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00), HVAC systems upgrade in an amount not to exceed one hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($150,000.00), support vehicle in an amount not to exceed twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00), fire station alerting system in an amount not to exceed fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00), and utility brush truck in an amount not to exceed twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00).
