BOARD OF FIRE COMMISSIONERS OF FIRE DISTRICT NO. 3 TOWNSHIP OF WALL RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLIC HEARING RELATIVE TO CAPITAL PROJECTS

BOARD OF FIRE COMMISSIONERS OF FIRE DISTRICT NO. 3 TOWNSHIP OF WALL RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLIC HEARING RELATIVE TO CAPITAL PROJECTS WHEREAS, the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 3, Township of Wall, County of Monmouth, State of New Jersey, finds it necessary, in order to fulfill its mandated charge of fire prevention and fire protection within the District, to undertake certain capital projects, namely, facility upgrades, radio and mobile data, specialty rescue equipment, special hazard support vehicle, 2010 Pierce refurbishment, Fire Bureau scene vehicle and reserve for future capital outlay; and WHEREAS, in compliance with N.J.S.A. 40A:14-84, a public hearing shall be held by the Fire District to allow the public the opportunity to be heard concerning the proposed expenditures. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 3, Township of Wall, County of Monmouth, State of New Jersey, as follows: 1. A public hearing shall be held by the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 3, Township of Wall, County of Monmouth, relative to the proposed expenditures for the purchase of facility upgrades in an amount not to exceed thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000.00), radio and mobile data in an amount not to exceed one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000.00), specialty rescue equipment in an amount not to exceed twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00), special hazard support vehicle in an amount not to exceed seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000.00), 2010 Pierce refurbishment in an amount not to exceed forty-six thousand dollars ($46,000.00), Fire Bureau scene vehicle in an amount not to exceed fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000.00) and reserve for future capital outlay in an amount not to exceed one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000.00) for Wall Township Fire District No. 3; 2. The public hearing shall be held on December 16, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. at Wall Fire District No. 3 Station No. 2, Route 35 and Church Street, Wall, New Jersey; 3. Copies of the Resolution shall be made available to each person requesting a copy of same from the date following publication of this Notice up to and including the date of the meeting; 4. This Resolution shall be published and posted in accordance with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 40A:14-84; and 5. After the public hearing the Fire District may adopt the resolution authorizing the purchase of facility upgrades in an amount not to exceed thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000.00), radio and mobile data in an amount not to exceed one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000.00), specialty rescue equipment in an amount not to exceed twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00), special hazard support vehicle in an amount not to exceed seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000.00), 2010 Pierce refurbishment in an amount not to exceed forty-six thousand dollars ($46,000.00), Fire Bureau scene vehicle in an amount not to exceed fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000.00) and reserve for future capital outlay in an amount not to exceed one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000.00).
