Bruce & Bev Gartner, 50 Years

Bruce and Bev Gartner celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 22, 2026. The couple were married on May 22, 1976, in Fairfield, Iowa, and have spent much of their married life in Iowa City, Iowa. They are the proud parents of three children: Amber and her husband Tyson of North Liberty, IA, Adam and his wife Bridget of Batavia, IL, and Trey and his wife Carla, of Chicago, IL, and are loving grandparents to three granddaughters: Maya, Becca, and Reese, with one grandson on the way. Bruce and Bev have built a life centered on love, devotion, and family. Through 50 years of marriage, they have faced life's ups and downs together with strength and unwavering commitment, setting a beautiful example of what a true partnership looks like. Bruce is retired from Cassling Diagnostics, while Bev is a retired cosmetologist having practiced most of her career in Iowa City, IA. Together they enjoy camping and look forward to traveling the country in their fifth-wheel camper, with many stops to visit family along the way! Their home has always been filled with the love of dogs, including Benson, Penny, Dolley, and Quigley, and their current companions, Chip and Cookie. They are cherished by their family for their selfless love and the lasting impact they've made on the lives of those around them.
