CAPE COD REGIONAL GOVERNMENT ASSEMBLY OF DELEGATES Notice of Public Hearings Proposed Ordinances 2026-07 & 2026-13 ****** On May 6, 2026 at 4:00 p.m., the Cape Cod Regional Government (Barnstable County) Assembly of Delegates will hold hybrid (in-person and virtual) public hearings on: Proposed Ordinance 2026-07, To authorize funds and the authority to file loan application(s) for the purpose of making loans to residents of the County for repairing, replacing and/or upgrading residential septic systems, inclusive of sewer connections and innovative/alternative septic systems, in participating towns pursuant to agreements between the County and residential property owners, including all costs incidental and related thereto, and further, to add to the County's operating budget for Fiscal Year 2026, as enacted in Ordinances No. 2025-03 and 2025-04, by making supplemental appropriations for the Fiscal Year 2026; and Proposed Ordinance 2026-13, Authorizing budget transfers within the County's operating budget for the fiscal year two-thousand and twenty-six, as enacted in Ordinance numbers 2025-03 and 2025-04, for the general fund operations of Barnstable County. The public hearing(s) will be held in the Mary Pat Flynn Conference Center at the Barnstable County Courthouse Complex, 3195 Main Street – Route 6A, in the town of Barnstable, and via Microsoft Teams. The hearings will be open to anyone wishing to testify or make public comment on the proposed ordinances. The full text of the proposed ordinances has been electronically distributed to the Town Clerk of each town in Barnstable County. They are also available on the Cape Cod Regional Government website. Instructions on accessing the public hearings will be detailed on the Assembly of Delegates Business Calendar for May 6, 2026 located at https://www.capecod.gov/county-government/meeting-center/.
