NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Buckeye Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, and the Buckeye City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, both held at the Buckeye City Council Chambers, located at 530 E Monroe Avenue at 6:00 p.m., for the purpose of hearing all persons for or against the following requests:
Case No. PLZU-25-0005, PLZZ-25-0010, PLZZ-25-0011: Request by Garrett Development Corporation for approval of a Minor General Plan Amendment from Business Commerce to Master Planned Community on approximately 80 acres located south of the southeast corner of I-10 and the Yuma Road alignment and approximately 50 acres located southeast of the southeast corner of Turner Road and the Lower Buckeye Road alignment, a 2,200 acre Community Master Plan Amendment (CMPA) for the Westpark master planned community, and a 500 acre CMPA for the SilverRock Master Planned Community generally located south of I-10, east and west of SR-85 within Sections 23 and 24 and 26 of Township 1 North, Range 4 West of the Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian. The proposed amendments will allow the Property Owner to update residential land uses to meet market demands, alter circulation patterns, and introduce additional employment generating land uses west of SR-85 into the Westpark CMP. The Westpark CMPA will not alter any permitted uses or standards for the already developed portions of Westpark. The SilverRock CMPA will reduce the acreage within the existing CMP allowing the incorporation into the Westpark CMP.
