City of Asheville Public Hearings - October 14, 2025 Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Asheville will hold the following public hearing at its regular meeting at 5:00 p.m. on the 14th day of October, 2025, in the Council Chamber, located on the 2nd Floor of City Hall, located at 70 Court Plaza, Asheville, N.C.: 1. To consider amending the conditional zoning ordinance (Ord. No. 5046) for property located at 30 Buchanan Place, and further identified on the Buncombe County tax maps and records as PIN 9648-47-8566, for the purpose of making amendments to the site plan and project conditions. 2. To consider an amendment to the conditional zoning of 27.05 acres at 767 New Haw Creek Road, and further identified on the Buncombe County tax maps and records as PIN 9659-93-9458, for the purposes of amending the site plan and the project conditions to build 49 new single-family housing units and 35 townhome units. NOTE: In considering any application for a change in the zoning classification of property, the City Council may rezone the property to a less intensive classification than was requested, and/or may rezone a smaller area of the property than was requested.
