CITY OF FORT MYERS NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
The City of Fort Myers Planning Board will hold public hearings to consider the following:
PUBLIC HEARING: Consider a request to amend the Future Land Use Classification on 9.97 +/- acres located at 2701-2735 Prince St., from Residential Medium Density (RMD) to Industrial (IND). (Ward 3) (Quasi-Judicial).
PUBLIC HEARING: Consider a Planned Unit Development (PUD) located at 2701-2735 Prince St., to allow up to 100,000 square feet of Industrial development. (Ward 3) (Quasi-Judicial)
PUBLIC HEARING: Consider a request to rezone 0.32 +/- acres located at 1941 Hill Ave., from Medium Density Multi-family (RM-16) to Commercial Intensive (CI). (Ward 4) (Quasi-Judicial).
PUBLIC HEARING: Consider a request to amend the Future Land Use Classification on 2 +/- acres located at 3955, 3963, 3971, 3979, 3987, 3991, 3995, and 4009 Marvaez St.., from Lee County Central Urban (CU) to City of Fort Myers Residential Low Density (RLD). (Ward 5) (Quasi-Judicial).
PUBLIC HEARING: Consider a request to rezone 2 +/- acres located at 3955, 3963, 3971, 3979, 3987, 3991, 3995, and 4009 Marvaez St., from Lee County Agricultural (AG-2) to City of Fort Myers Residential Single-Family (RS-7). (Ward 5) (Quasi-Judicial).
The hearings will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 1:00 pm in Council Chambers at Oscar M. Corbin Jr. City Hall, 2200 Second St, Fort Myers, Florida.
If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Planning Board with respect to any matter considered at such hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings & that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which includes the testimony & evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
