CITY OF FORT PIERCE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The City Commission of the City of Fort Pierce, Florida, will, in accordance with Section 166.041 of the Florida Statutes, on Monday, July 20th, 2026, and Monday, August 3rd, 2026, at 5.05 p.m., hold Public Hearings on the enactment of the proposed ordinance on first and second readings, respectively, in the City Hall Commission Chambers, 100 North U.S. #1, Fort Pierce, Florida, to consider review and approval of an ordinance to revise the process outlining the qualification and application process in respect of impact fee offset credits for capital improvements within County right of way. ORDINANCE 26-014 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 113, IMPACT FEES, OF THE CITY CODE OF ORDINANCES; AMENDING DEFINITIONS; PROVIDING FOR THE RECOGNITION OF IMPACT FEE OFFSETS AND CREDITS INCLUDING CERTAIN TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENTS CONSISTENT WITH ST. LUCIE COUNTY STANDARDS; PROVIDING FOR COORDINATION WITH COUNTY IMPACT FEE CREDIT PROGRAMS; PROVIDING FOR PROPORTIONALITY AND AVOIDANCE OF DUPLICATE IMPACT FEE PAYMENTS; PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. All interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the ordinance. Said ordinance will be available for inspection in the City Clerk's Office, City Hall, 100 North U.S. #1, Fort Pierce, Florida. ANY PERSON SEEKING TO APPEAL THE DECISION OF THE CITY COMMISSION AS TO THE FOREGOING IS ADVISED THAT A RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS IS REQUIRED IN ANY SUCH APPEAL AND THAT SUCH PERSON MAY NEED TO INSURE THAT A VERBATIM RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS IS MADE INCLUDING THE TESTIMONY AND EVIDENCE UPON WHICH THE APPEAL IS TO BE BASED.
