CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A PUBLIC HEARING will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 6 p.m. to include the second reading of the following ordinance in the Council Chambers at Fort Walton Beach City Hall, 107 Miracle Strip Parkway SW, at which time the City Council will consider its adoption into law. The ordinance in its entirety may be inspected online at www.fwb.org or in the office of the City Clerk during normal business hours. All interested parties are invited to appear publicly at the meeting to be heard by the Council in respect to the proposed ordinance.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA; AMENDING SECTION 10.50.09, UTILITY DEPOSITS, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES BY CLARIFYING DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS, UPDATING LANGUAGE PERTAINING TO LENGTH OF TIME UTILITY DEPOSITS ARE HELD, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Any person who decides to appeal any decision made with respect to any matter considered at such hearing will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (Fla. Stat. §286.0105).
